Dine & Unwind at Madison’s Place
If you’re looking for a signature Madison dining experience, look no further than The Statehouse. Our creative culinary team offers Modern Midwestern cuisine—recognizable, approachable favorites using unique ingredients and innovative cooking techniques. We are ingredient-driven and market-inspired, taking the best of the season, the state and the region to create authentic dishes our guests ask for by name.
Augie’s Tavern at The Statehouse is open for drinks and food service Monday – Friday 4 pm – 10 pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am – 10 pm. Tables are spaced six feet apart and the bar seating is adhering to county mandated protocols–all guests must be seated at all times. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
In response to COVID-19 as mandated by the State of Wisconsin, our restaurants and bars—The Statehouse, Augie’s Tavern, The Boathouse and The Market—are open in a limited capacity.
Per Public Health Dane County Emergency Order #16, indoor and outdoor tables must be spaced 6 feet apart and people five years of age and older are required to wear a face covering that covers their nose and mouth indoors when in public unless seated at a table.
